How to Integrate Freshdesk with Kommunicate?

  • Find your Freshdesk API key (Profile → Profile SettingsView API key) and note your Freshdesk domain (e.g., acme.freshdesk.com).
  • In Kommunicate → Integrations → Freshdesk, paste the domain and API key.
  • Map fields: requester (email/phone), subject, description, priority/status, tags, and any custom fields you need.
  • Choose triggers for ticket creation (e.g., on agent handoff, on user request “create ticket”, or when confidence is low).
  • Enable two-way sync: send chat transcripts as private/public notes; show ticket ID + status in the chat.
  • Publish across channels and test. Add Freshdesk automations to route by skill/priority.

Tip: Freshdesk’s API uses Basic auth with the API key; keep keys scoped and rotate periodically.
