How to Connect a Facebook Page to an Instagram Business Account

In this Part 1 video, we’ll see how to connect an Instagram account to a Facebook Page.

There are two ways to connect an Instagram account to a Facebook Page:

1. Directly from the Instagram app

2. From your Facebook account

First, let’s discuss how to link a Facebook Page to an Instagram account using the Instagram app.

Begin by opening your Instagram account. It’s important to convert this profile into a professional account.

Click on the menu button to open Settings and Activity. Then, scroll down until you find Account Type and Tools. Select this option, and you’ll see an option to switch to a professional account.

Follow the prompts to complete the setup.

For now, let’s skip this step and start from the profile page.

This is how the professional account looks. Here, click on the Professional Dashboard button.

On the Professional Dashboard page, click the gear icon located at the top-right corner of the screen. This opens a menu where you’ll find an option to connect to a Facebook Page.

Click Connect a Facebook Page, and then select Continue.

You’ll be prompted to log in to your Facebook account. Please log in to continue.

Once you’re logged in, your Facebook Page will be displayed. Simply click the Connect button to link your Facebook Page to your Instagram account.

Alternatively, you can connect your Instagram account to your Facebook Page through the Facebook app.

To do this, go to your Facebook account and click on the profile menu located at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Select See More and navigate to Pages.

Here, you’ll see the Facebook Page that you want to connect. Click on it and select the Switch button.

Now, you have switched your account to the Facebook Page.

Next, navigate to the menu of the Facebook Page and scroll down until you find Settings and Privacy.

Under Settings and Privacy, select Settings.

Now, scroll down and find Linked Accounts. Click on Linked Accounts.

Here, your Instagram account will be listed if it is already connected. If it is not connected, you can connect it from here.

Simply click on Instagram and follow the prompts to connect your Instagram account.

And there you have it. You can connect your Facebook Page to your Instagram account either through the Instagram app or the Facebook app.
