We updated our UI in March so everyone could customize their workflows faster. We’ve made it simpler for you to access our latest AI features and simplified the UI around custom instructions so that you can build your AI agents faster.
Features
You can now select the AI that your agent will use during support from the Bot Settings page. For example, if you used OpenAI while setting up your bot, you can continue its operations with Claude, and we’ll handle the changes in the backend.
Improvements
- To improve your access to AI, we’ve moved the Knowledge Source page in bot training to the top.
- We’ve increased the field height where you entered your Custom Instructions for your chatbots. This will help you see more of the prompt you enter and make editing easier.
Bug Fixes
- We fixed an issue where answers from the Help Center in the Sunshine widget displayed raw HTML tags instead of clean, readable text.
- We resolved a bug in the Flow Designer where:
1. Users could edit the flow name without clicking the edit icon.
2. No confirmation message was shown after saving the name, which made it unclear whether the update was successful. - We corrected the email validation logic, preventing valid addresses from being accepted.
- We added the missing application ID to the detailed API call for the EU region chat server.
- We fixed a real-time issue where the online/offline status in the chat widget wasn’t updating correctly.
- We resolved the “Maximum call stack size exceeded” error impacting performance.
- We fixed an error when reopening conversations created through the test page.
- We addressed bugs related to voice notes, including:
1. Errors while sending a voice note.
2. Errors when deleting a voice note. - We fixed an issue where human handover was triggered via the chat widget icon even though the feature was disabled.
- We ensured that the /support API call doesn’t fail if one of the support groups returns an error.
- We updated the chat widget’s email field validation so that the error message disappears once a valid email address is entered.
- We resolved an NPE (NullPointerException) on the chat server that was causing instability.
- No confirmation message was shown after saving the name, which made it unclear whether the update was successful.
